You know, you’d think I would have thought of this earlier, but it just recently dawned on me that I should probably find out what the general August climate is in Newfoundland. Turns out 70ºF (21ºC) is considered a heat wave.
Looking at the forecast for St. John’s:
Yup. The daily HIGH temps are in the low-to-mid 60’s. So essentially this will be like riding in late September in New England.
I should have bought a larger jacket, ’cause I’m gonna have to wear that liner after all. *groan*
